School notices, made clear.
BellNudge helps parents turn school emails, photos and personal notes into short summaries, things to do and calendar drafts in their preferred language.
Try it on your phone
- Choose your reading language. Add all your photos, paste the notice, or write your own notes.
- Tap Summarize notice. Review the key points and check dates against the original.
- Select the calendar items you want, choose reminder times and download the calendar file. Import the file into your calendar and confirm its notification settings. Downloading alone does not schedule a reminder; Google Calendar file import requires a computer.
No app-store download is needed. You can bookmark the website or add it to your phone’s Home Screen from your browser.
Free beta
The public beta does not require an account or payment card. Up to five successful summaries per network per day are available; people on the same Wi-Fi share that allowance. Failed summaries do not use this allowance. A shared site limit also applies, so availability is limited. Trial limits may change. The public beta has no paid checkout.
Photo text recognition currently supports English, Chinese and Russian. Text input and reading-language choices are listed in the tool. Blurred photos, handwriting and complex layouts can be misread.
Privacy and your information
If you choose Google sign-in, Clerk receives your basic profile and email address to create and secure your account. BellNudge does not request access to Gmail, Drive or your Google Calendar.
When you subscribe, Stripe handles payment details and invoices. BellNudge stores Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, payment status and usage counts to manage your membership. BellNudge does not receive or store your full card number.
The optional signed-in version uses Clerk to manage your email address and login session. BellNudge stores a one-way account identifier and summary-usage records to keep your allowance consistent across devices. These records contain no notice text, photos or summaries. Contact support from your account email if you want your account and usage records deleted.
Photos are read in your browser. After you tap Summarize notice, the extracted text and any text you entered are sent through our service to OpenAI to create the summary. BellNudge does not save notices, photos or summaries on its servers. The current notice stays in page memory and is cleared on refresh or when the tab is closed. Save any result you need before leaving.
Your reading-language preference is saved in this browser. To limit trial usage, we temporarily keep a date-specific one-way hash of the network address and request status for up to two days, plus a running total of requests. The application does not store the raw network address in that usage ledger. Cloudflare processes connection information to serve and protect the website.
OpenAI processes submitted text under its own API data rules; sending a request with storage disabled does not remove all provider retention. Avoid including information that is unnecessary for your reminder, such as a child’s full name, student number or home address. OpenAI API data rules.
Using the service
This beta is for parents and adult caregivers, not for children to create accounts. Only submit material you are entitled to use. BellNudge is independent of your school. AI can miss or misread details: the original school notice is the source of truth. BellNudge does not submit forms, register for activities or automatically send reminders. Your calendar handles notifications after you import and confirm the items.
